Our Shipping Map Explained: Where We Ship and Why

Our Shipping Map Explained: Where We Ship and Why

We want to take a moment to clearly explain where we ship, why we ship the way we do, and what’s changing moving forward.

The rules surrounding kratom and kratom-derived products vary widely from state to state. In some cases, state agencies issue guidance or take regulatory actions that affect what we’re able to ship — even when there isn’t a clear law written into statute.

Our approach is simple:

We want to be transparent and educational about this so you understand not only what states are restricted, but why. We ship only where we’re confident we can operate responsibly and long-term.

Below is the breakdown with links you can click for official source documents where available.

States Where We Do Not Currently Ship (this will take effect on 12/22)

Please see our shipping map:

  • States in GREEN we allow our full product line
  • States in RED unfortunately we are unable to ship any of our products to these states for the time being.
  • States in YELLOW, we are allowed to ship our 10MG 7-OH and any of our Mitragynine (MIT) productsStates in
  • GREY, we can only ship our Mitragynine (MIT) products.

California — Official Health Department Guidance

Status: We cannot ship kratom or kratom-derived products to California.

California’s public health agency has issued a press release advising consumers and retailers that foods, dietary supplements, and other products containing kratom or 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) are illegal to sell or manufacture in the state. They explain that kratom and 7-OH have been linked to serious harm and fatal overdoses, and are not approved as food, supplements, or drugs in the U.S. (including California). Local public health departments (e.g., Los Angeles County) have also issued notices urging retailers to pull kratom and 7-OH from shelves and warning that inspections and enforcement actions may follow. L.A. County Public Health

Because of this guidance and enforcement posture, we are not shipping any kratom products to California at this time.

Florida

Florida — Pharmacy Board Scheduling

Status: We do not ship 7-OH products to Florida. We can ship MIT products.

Florida’s Board of Pharmacy has classified 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) as a Schedule I controlled substance through a state regulatory rule. This means concentrations of 7-OH products are treated as illegal to sell under Florida’s controlled substance framework. Wikipedia

Because of that regulatory scheduling, 7-OH products are not shipped to Florida from our store.

Ohio — Emergency Regulatory Action

Status: We can only ship MIT products and can no longer ship 7-OH products

The Ohio Board of Pharmacy has issued an emergency rule making kratom-related products illegal to sell, distribute, or possess in the state (except for products composed solely of mitragynine). This emergency rule is effective for a limited period while permanent rules are developed. Ohio Board of Pharmacy

Both consumer and retailer notices explain that any kratom product containing derivatives such as 7-OH is now subject to prohibition under this emergency action. Ohio Board of Pharmacy

Because of this statewide regulatory action, we are not shipping kratom or kratom-derived products into Ohio at this time.

Why Shipping Rules Are Complicated

There’s a lot of conflicting information out there. Different vendors take different approaches, and not all of them follow the same standards or risk tolerance.

We’re not interested in doing something just because “everyone else is doing it.”
Our goal is transparency, compliance, and sustainability — even if that means making tougher decisions.

A Final Word

We know this landscape can be confusing and sometimes frustrating. Our decisions aren’t about taking shortcuts or following trends — they’re about building something that lasts.

We’ll continue monitoring changes at the state level and will update our shipping policies as needed. If you ever have questions about your state, our support team is always happy to help.

Thank you for trusting us to take the long view.
