What is Red Kratom?

Red Kratom comes from the Mitragyna speciosa tree, the only species of kratom. The color of the kratom powder reflects the color of the veins in the leaves used.

The leaves that grow at the top of the canopy are exposed to more sunlight, causing their veins to turn red. This exposure reduces their Mitragynine content, resulting in milder effects compared to other types of kratom.
